Greeting

クリフム CRIFM のメンバーに代わりましてすべてのママ、パパ、そしてクリフムワールドに興味をお持ちの方がたにご挨拶させていただきます。

クリフムは2006年6月に、胎児医学を専門といたしました胎児診断専門施設として香川県に開設いたしました。全国の多くの患者様の期待に答えて、2007年に大阪に移転し、2020年には胎児脳を詳しく診断するための別フロアを開設。胎児診断を主とするフロアと、胎児脳専用フロアの二段構造となりました。これもひとえに皆様方の熱いご支援と力強いご協力の賜物と、心より感謝申し上げます。

生命誕生の不思議に魅せられ、
胎児診断専門クリニック設立へ

哲学者の父と、英文学者の母との間に次女として生まれた兵庫県育ち。中学生のときに「罪を憎んで人を憎まず」という言葉に感動して弁護士を目指して法学部へ。慶應義塾大学法学部法律学科では刑法学および生命倫理学を専攻し、生命誕生の不思議に魅せられ、継続した興味から法学部卒業後、再度医学部受験、徳島大学医学部へ進学し、卒後産婦人科医となりました。未知なる胎児の中でもとりわけ未解明な事実の多い妊娠初期の胎児発達と胎児中枢神経系に興味をもち、胎児画像診断を診療の中心としています。

1996年から始めた経腟超音波走査法による詳細な胎児脳診断は国際的にも高く評価されており、現在では、国際学会でも「胎児脳」といえばDr.Poohの名前が当然のように出てくるようになっています。Dr.Poohの診断画像は非常にScientificかつArtisticだと定評があり、2017年12月には米国NIH(国立衛生研究所)周産期リサーチブランチでDr.Poohの胎児超音波画像のエキシビジョンが開かれ、多くの医療関係者が集まっています。

さらに、FMF(Fetal Medicine Foundation)のNT資格を日本で早期に取得し、2009年からシステマティックな妊娠初期の胎児診断を開始、Sonoembryology(超音波発生学)を実施臨床で確立したことで、Sonogenetics(超音波遺伝学)という新分野を提唱、国際学会で高く評価されるようになりました。2009年から開始した母体腹壁からの絨毛検査は、それまでの「絨毛検査は腟からの検査で危険で結果があいまい」という日本での概念を打ち崩し、クリフムはこれまで13,000例以上(2009年~2019年のデータ参照)の経腹的絨毛検査を施行したエキスパートでもあります。日本人類遺伝学会認定 臨床遺伝専門医の資格を持ちながらも、日進月歩の遺伝医学をもっと学びたいと考え、2016-2018年には診療の合間をぬって香港のChinese University Hong Kong(CUHK)大学院で米国Baylor医科大学とCUHKの教授陣から遺伝医学を学びました。

2006年、胎児診断を究めて患者さんのサポートをするため、大好きだった分娩・手術・救急搬送などから離れて日本で初めての胎児診断専門クリニックを立ち上げました。「胎児診ずして胎児診断あらず」と毎年バージョンアップした超音波機器を導入して診断する一方、出生前診断は診断することがゴールではなく、診断したところからが患者様に寄り添うスタート地点だというポリシーのもと、胎児病の患者様にとことん寄り添う出生前診断という、だれからも理解しやすい医療を展開し、2012年ではこの「寄り添う出生前診断」がNHKスペシャルの番組になりました。

2012年にはさらに遺伝カウンセリング部門をクリフムに新設し、2014年からは日本人類遺伝学の大御所である千代豪昭先生がクリフム副院長に就任したことで、さらに究極を目指せるようになりました。診断機器の技術進歩とともに、撮影された画像は素人にも容易に理解しやすく、全国から正確な診断を求める患者が数多くクリフムを訪れています。また、海外のドクターたちからも画像コンサルテーションとして数多くの相談を受けています。

産婦人科領域のみならず、小児脳神経領域においても幅広い臨床を行っており、さらに現在では米国・ロシア・クロアチアの大学の教授を併任しており、国内だけでなく、海外の学会・研究会からの講演依頼は多く、講演は年間70以上(内、2/3が英語でのプレゼンテーション)を数えます。2008年・2017年には米国NIHからの要請でアメリカにも胎児神経画像診断を教えに行ったり、アジア・ヨーロッパ・中東・アフリカなど各国からDr.Poohの超音波講義や実技指導の要請があとを絶ちません。国内でも積極的にセミナーや学会を開催し、多くの若手医師、若手研究者からも師事されています。また、2000年に開始した「胎児ドック」の創設者でもあり、そのシステマティックな画像診断は来院患者も十分納得のいくものであり、診断テクニックを習得しようとDr.Poohのもとを訪れる若手医師や検査技師も多く、海外の医師たちが数ヶ月単位でクリフムに留学しています。(新型コロナウイルス感染拡大してからは外部の研修は制限しています)

かたい経歴のわりに気さくでユーモアあふれる性格の3児の母です。赤ちゃんを超音波で診断していく間も、ママと気さくにお話しして、リラックスしていただけるよう、また子育ての相談などにも乗ったりしています。

2011年 ロサンゼルスでの第21回ISUOG世界産婦人科超音波学会でAlfred Kratochwil賞を受賞
Alfred Kratochwil先生はウイーンの素晴らしい先生で、3D超音波の研究を何十年もされて産婦人科領域での3D超音波を作り上げた先生です。現在クリフムにもあるGEのVOLUSON E10という超音波の3D超音波は非常に完成度の高い機器ですが、これはもともとKratochwil先生がKretzTechnikと共同研究を重ねて作り上げられた3D超音波があるからなのです。ISUOG世界超音波学会ではKratochwil先生の功績をたたえ、先生の名前にちなんだAwardができ、この賞をいただいたことは大変名誉なことなのです。

2016年 アルバニアのティラナで開かれた第32回国際Fetus as a PatientでSir William Liley賞を受賞
Sir William Liley(12 March 1929 – 15 June 1983)ウイリアムライリー先生は胎児治療において非常に有名なニュージーランドの先生です。周産期医学界において2004年から1年に1人だけ、顕著な貢献が認められるドクターにSir William Liley賞とそのメダルが授与されます。なんとDr.Poohは日本人で初めての受賞者なのです。その他、周産期関連の国際学会・国内学会においても胎児画像診断・胎児脳・胎児中枢神経系のフィールドでのアクティビティは非常に高く評価されています。
